Some of us have been on here a long time. We rib a lot. Human nature. Maybe some boards aren't meant for everyone on every site.

Some boards can be set up and moderated in a password only format.

I'm one of us who's been here a long time. IMO a board (password protected) with more relaxed moderation would get a lot of hits. Watch the threads overall and see the high number of hits on the ones that have some spice or controversy. Since all the other boards would remain as is, and one would enter an additional password protected board only if they wanted, it's hard to see how anyone could get run off.

Bottom line guys...it was a suggestion, I'm not tore up whether what you choose to call fight club board exists or not. Peter and his moderators run this site and it's boards the way they want. That's the way it is, and that's the way it should be.

Don't want a fight club either....but would like a place for those folks that like a good adult debate can take it and agree to disagree. Heck, I'm sure the mod's would like it also.

Not gonna happen on a board like this that has corporate sponsors.

Andrew and Col liked to mix it up a little but I have yet to see Dave jump in the fray! :) I'm good either way, I like the idea but I'm good either way.

Nothing wrong with a little debate...........

Here is how I "temper" my posts...........If I was talking face to face with someone, if I would't say it to them DIRECTLY, then I'm not typing it.

Way too many people hide behind the anonymity of the WEB, just to rile people up. I know for a FACT, there are a ton of people here and on other sites, that would NEVER say the CRAP they type.

Otherwise, they'd be picking the teeth up quite a bit.

One thing I have learned is that thiers no book on moderation. It comes from the individual. No one is alike in the way they do things.
