Re: Lowrance HDS?
According to this website the lake insight maps have all of the fishing hot spots pro charts on them. Call this place up and they should be able to tell you if you can't get through to lowrance, they were really helpful with questions I had in the past.

Re: Lowrance HDS?
I would also like to know the KY and TN lakes included, checked their website and couldn't find a link to a list. If you have the "insight" on the depthfinder does that mean you don't a "hotspot" chip. Not clear on this any help would be great. Trying to get a new depthfinder and would like to keep the cost under $800 that has both GPS and sonar.
I'm new to the board, been reading it for long, but just now registered.
my son work's at BPS and he say's the bird's have better GPS than the lowrance does. you can get the 788 bird for under $700 with gps and sonar and it take's the navionic's chip.
