Re: allstar rod's?
Not sure what you all are talking about, may be a different model or something....??? I have 6 All-Star rods, the American Classic (2005) model. Never have had a problem. Fished them 3 years now and love em'!! I gave $99.99 for them at BassPro in Nashville. I did have a Pro II model one time and had some issues with it. It is "was" a cheaper model. Honestly though I'm gradually changin over to loomis rods. But for $40 I'd probably atleast see what he had. FYI, a couple days ago I saw an All-Star WR1 go for $77 plus $18 shipping. WHAT!!! What were they thinking...? You can get a brand new team all-star "right now" at BassPro for $79.99.. Beats me! :)

They are about all I use. They are all made in Houston. Price depends on odel and what grade graphite it is. They make rods from $ 39.99 to $ 149.00.

Re: allstar rod's?
They are all I use. Not one problem. Every rod manufact. make a low end or cheaper rod. Mine are all IM 10 or sig. series. I would buy more expensive rods if my wife would let me. Heck, I don't think i could spend 2 or 3 hundred bucks on a rod.
