Glad to hear that one of my idols is as good a person as I hoped he would be.:)
I was excited to receive my new BassMaster Magazine in the mail and see Bill Dance on the cover. He actually fished for their "A Day on the Lake" article. They were doing some Spring fishing on a tough, cold-front day. I think Bill managed over 15lbs on a lake he'd never been on before. A really interesting article. One statement from Bill that I though was really interesting was when he said that Spring is his LEAST favorite time to fish. He prefers mid-autumn through late winter because the fish are so much more predictable. Interesting.
BTW, does Larry Nixon have a TV show anymore? I can remember a few years ago seeing a few of his fishing shows on some outdoor channel and I loved them. I thought his shows were one of the most instructive that I've seen but I've never seen them since.
