Re: Ike
Who cares if he is hated on...he brings it on himself. This act of kindness was top notch it showed heart and compassion and I applaud him for that!!
I AGREE........GOOD for him........maybe he is a good guy after all.
AND I must admit, I like his 5 minute blurbs on Saturday morning. Fishing on THE FREAK, or whatever it is called.

Re: Ike
Well i have to say, the first time i met Ike was at the bassmaster american at high rock lake. I stood beside his boat and talked to him for a bit, he is down to earth and a super nice guy. The real suprise came when as we were talking a friend of mine that is a big Ike fan happened to call me. I answered and told him i was talking to Ike and of course he didnt believe me. So Ike took the phone from me and proceeded to talk to my buddy for a good 2 minutes. Now my buddy had just got into bass fishing, and just from a two minute convo with Ike, he now wants to fish ALL THE TIME. I will always be a fan just from that meeting. (and some of the other high profile pros didnt seem to have time for anybody but the person on the other end of their cell phones!!) So hate the antics, not the man!

Re: Ike
A lot of folks dislike him for his screeming and playing for the camera, but that is just marketing.
I LOVE HIS CITY LIMITS FISHING SHOW!!! Fantastic

City Limits is my favorite fishing show by far. Of course, if Schooled by Denny Brauer were still on, City Limits would be a close second. LOL

Re: Ike
He just put on a show for the camera. If he caught a 8 lber off camera I bet ya he wouldn't act like the way he is on camera. Its all an act so some of ya need to get a grip and quit hating. Its all entertainment. Quit watching too much TV :D

Re: Ike
Wrong! I have fished with him and he carries on like that when No one is around. He is not scared to show the passion for fishing that alot of us have for the sport. I just saw him yesterday at Kentucky Lake and he stopped his prep everytime someone came up to his boat and talked and signed autographs if they asked. And yes any thing or body that get kids interested is awsome.
