Elwood, I don't know you but we fish a lot of the same water at the same time. I know you have been through a lot and I wish you nothing but the best through your recovery. I work in medical sales and see many people going through some of the same procedures you have had and I can see the pain in their face daily. You and your family have prays from me. Good luck!

Sometimes bad things happen to good people, dont understand it sometimes, but a preacher once told me that without suffering there would be no compassion, and believe me brother, you have my compassion. get well soon, and may god place his healing hands upon you.

We've never met, but hang in there man. It's gotta be rough, but you'll overcome this and be posting about big brown fish before you know it.

A little update as of Sunday morning. My fascia is now seperating underneath my cut. It is something that has happened before but not to this extreme. They can't do anything about it now but it is a weak spot and the doctor said that it will cause another hernia in the future in this weak area. Sad to say, my body is already preparing for the next hernia and I am not even released yet for the current surgery. Story of my life. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, I appreciate them very much. Hope to see you on the water some time within the next 6 months or so, Elnut.
