If you seriously believe that this guy wasn't making a play on a racial slur, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you, cheap. But that doesn't change his First Amendment right to say whatever he wants, and whoever changed his sign committed vandalism, plain and simple. If you don't like what his sign says, don't patronize his store.

The part that really amazes me is this: “These days when someone can’t win an argument, they brand someone to deflect the argument,” said Roach. “Only a racist person would find that [sign] racist.” Do you see what he does there? He complains that people who can't win an argument are branding him as racist, and then his response is to label those people as racist. Nice turnaround there.

Im at a loss how to reply to most of you. I guess some see the sign one way and some another.:confused: I truly believe he meant this in a racial way but hey, if you dont see it that way its fine with me. I can tell you I would never go into that store because of his sign. I made the statement I dont know if I really like this site at all. This site is just fine, what I should have said is I dont agree with most of you concerning this subject. If any of you think I have accused you, in my mind of being a racist I appoligize. The only thing I see racial is the sign.

My gut tells me it was an intended play on words, but having never met the guy I'd just drive past the sign, mumble hmmmmmmm, and continue on with my day.

Start slamming one another and more than just the thread will be gone.

If you payed attention you would have noticed he deleted mine as well. Slippedcork, you come off to strong. I do to sometimes and I try to watch that. If you have lurked on this site very long you would have noticed we go at each other like Sabertooth tigers sometimes but ALL the regulars on here know where the line is and we try to keep it civil. Heck some of us that bicker all the time fish together fairly often and get along like songbirds in a tree when we do.

Take it down a notch and you'll be fine. Bullrushing some of us fellas won't work and we'll come back with what we recieve, is that fair enough for ya??
