The ONLY bummer is the amount of WEAR I'm putting on the truck and boat.
700 miles round trip for EACH trip is KILLING me and the truck. I put 22 thousand miles on my rig since last October........WOW.
Oh well...............
I'm hoping to do some ledge fishing.......and maybe catch them moving shallow again.
Over labor day my wife and I caught a TON of fish shallow........CANNOT WAIT.
AND she loved the "pretty fish".....those DRUM.........hahahahhahaha.

Geo im going to be down their on a fun fall fishing trip as well 10-17 - 10-20. A buddy and i , havent booked a room yet. If you wanna shoot me an email maybe we could hook up? Sounds like fun, cant wait, i was looking into the sportsmans resort at jonathon creek, cheap rooms and nobody was there last year?

I've never stayed at sportsmans...........I've heard they are good.
I've been staying at Poplar Creek up at the top of the lake.......Not the cheapest rooms, around KY or Barkely, but definitely the BEST.......

Sportsman is hosting a big "classic" for Bassworld sports and it's on the 9th and 10th, Jonathan Creek will be a madhouse that Saturday!!!!! probable 225-250+ boats with the weigh in just up the hill from the marina. Thought you guys might need to know that.
