Re: Ky Lake
Just my luck.........I guess I will be TRAILERING to my favorite spots, instead of running.......I course I usually do that anyways.
Hoping to start off on Barkley tomorrow, and then maybe hit some ramps up the trace if the Ole Barkley doesn't show the love.
Later,

I have used 64 and 65............If I'm headed to the top of the lake, and my fishin partners are in indiana, I usually go 64.
If I'm headed to the 68/80 area, I usually go 65. I'm starting to think since they are working construction on BOTH, I'm going to start running the OHIO river instead :) :) .
Actually the construction is REALLY UGLY on both legs right now, but I'm thinking 65 may be better.
We are leaving tomorrow morning at 4:00am, meeting at Brooks Exit.
How about you?
BTW......a QUICK google maps query shows about 230 mi if I go KY route, and 250 in I go IN route.
I've sent you a private message with my cell phone number.....feel free to give me a holler.
later,

Re: Ky Lake
Had a good trip. Friday caught 50-60 bass, it was a blast. Sat. was about the same. Had our club tourny and was in second place with 21lbs. Then Sunday came and the wind died off and so did my pattern. Only managed 6lbs more and got smoked. The winner had 41lbs. Got third and was disappointed cause I had the fish on to get second. Had a 4lb smally get of at the net. My partner was on the bank takin care of some "business" and I tried to net it myself. Try to net a 4lb smally by yourself, WOW. All said it was a good trip. Time to hunt now!
