Re: My 5 yr olds first 3 Rainbow Trouts...
Glad to hear that you are feeling better. As for your son, that is something he will remember for the rest of his life and you will cherish for the rest of yours. I can still remember my sons first and it also was a trout out of Otter Creek on Fort Knox. I will never forget it.

Fantastic, a big way to go for the young fella.
Re: My 5 yr olds first 3 Rainbow Trouts...
Yesterday when we were fishing he said he could not wait to grow up and be big like me to which I told him to not rush it because he will be here before he knows it. Last night he tells my wife that he will be 6 next month and want to be 6 the rest of his life. I told him that I wish he could stay 6 for all of his life because life sure was a lot easier at 6. Hope he never loses his innocence but as my mom told me and I tell my 21 yr old daughter. When kids are little they step on your toes and when they grow up they step on your heart. How very true.

Elnut,
I can't adopt you, but if you EVER want to fish its on me brother! All you gotta do is call and I will come to get you and we can fish...anywhere you want to. I have some extra time on my hands now with my changing circumstances and, as long as I don't have my kids that weekend, I would LOVE to go fishing with ya. May need to use your boat, but the rest I got for ya....LOL

Appreciate it Rob, hope all is getting better with what you are going thru for I know first hand how tough that can be. Like I told you in the PM, keep looking UP for assistance and every day it gets better. Hopefully, both your wife and yourself know more importantly thru all this that the Kids are Kids and not Pawns in a game of Chess. Kids are more resilient than you will ever know and will get thru this but it will still take both of you to raise them, together or seperate. Keep your head up and it will get better each and every day. Send me a PM when you want to go fishing. I know Ky and Barkley in the Spring and Fall pretty good, Dale Hollow night fishing in the summer and Winter fishing pretty good, and Cumberland for Stripers in November - Decent as well as Stripers at Cumberland in Feb - Fair. These are the times and places that I am fairly to pretty confident that I can put us on some fish. The rest, willing to try anything. Later, Elnut
