A nice idea, but kind of simplistic. Just how much WOULD it cost to deport 20,000,000 people? Logistically, how are we going to accomplish it? If it truly is affordable and "do-able," then I'm all for it.
Not all but some Illegals that come here do not have Jobs and resort to stealing to survive. Some folks get hurt because of this or dead.
Some end up in prison.
Some have babies or strokes or broken bones.
Some get food stamps and welfare.
Some push drugs.
What is the cost?
I'll tell you what I think. I think the cost is votes. Which ever party is in charge at the time would lose votes. That is why I think that they are not deported.
It will cost more to deport them the longer we wait.
So what do our political leaders do. They attack a good man for doing what is right. Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
This 20,000,000 people we are speaking of if they had jobes they are taking american jobes.
the reason your insurance car and health care is so high is because of the sue happy people that sue all the doctors for millions that makes the doctors insurance go up in return he charges more and then your insurance goes up.
DJD, I would tell your friend to get on the illegal alien plan. Alot of people think they have the best plan, just show up at the ER and everyone else working will take care of the bill. If the Illegals love it we should use it also. We have a president and congress trying to fix this problem and getting fought all the way. Im getting confused, does anyone want affordable coverage for all or priced out of the system for but a few. Danged if I know and I have a cadillac plan according to the administration. I am willing to be taxed so all can have coverage, or I can see my rates continue to increase over the yrs like in the past for nothing.
I'm 47 years old and I can't remember a moment in time when insurance wasn't a rip off. Granted things are worse now in regards to insurance than they ever were, but I still don't ever thinking insurance wasn't a rip off. In my mind it's a necessary evil.
This is really one of the BEST options........but you still need someone to administer and pay claims with Catastrophic insurance........who will do that.
Since I went to a HSA and a High Deductible plan, I feel I'm in much more control over my health care costs........I still have a "blanket" to cover me when I have a SERIOUS problem, but everyday medical expenses are covered by ME.

Exactly what I have. The company even puts money into our HSA each month.
Slipped,
Here are a few problems I have with the President and Congress....
1) He lies so much and has always shown terible judgement. I don't trust him or his agenda.
2) This Congress majority has been one of the main factors in our current Recession and have a LOW approval rating. I don't trust people who don't take responsibility for their mistakes.
3) Remember how we needed to spend Billions/Trillions to bailout companies with little to no pork in the Stimulus Plan? It was loaded!! We were lied to again.
4) The gubment cannot run anything anything anything!! Look into the Postal Service, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare and other programs and get back to me.
5) In my heart I don't think anyone is trying to help. It's a political move that's all. They want to firm up their poor, immigrant, gubment baby following. If not why not get tort reform or competition across state lines? All they want to do is tax us more and give to the needy but what about us who have to make ends meet? We just get tapped on the shoulder being asked for more money.
One last thing is once you understand what they are trying to pass please explain it to me. I would like to know what it will cost me and who is getting a free ride this time off my money.
