Intelligence doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it. The husband of one of my wife's best friends has fallen for at least three variations of this scam as well as two times depositing "good faith checks" and sending the money back to the Canadian Lottery (or whatever it was) to get his millions. He is a retired senior military officer and retired from a second business career. But, according to what his wife says he may be smart on paper but he is as dumb as a rock when it comes to his wanting to make money.
Someone said not to respond or reply to these emails, etc because then tney know they have a live one and, believe me, once someone falls for one of these scams the scammers know where to try again, and again, and again.

I think intelligence would have to enter the scope at some point. How smart would a person have to be to know that if they didn't buy a Canadian Lottery ticket, it's impossible to be a winner?
There is an old saying, "There is no such thing as a free lunch."

Try this on for size (pun intended). I am a woman and am constantly getting SPAMS for male enhancement products. Some even tell me I can be like "George" (the smiling guy in the Santa suit on TV) if I use their products. Others offer me a generous supply of Viagra and guarantee that I can make the women happy. lol
Hurricane I apoligize I forwarded your email to him hoping you could take the extra money and put towards gas for your pontoon. my mistake sosorri
NO PROBLEM........but you better fall up with them, cause I been waiting all week for the check and it ain't here yet. Come on man.....you promised......where's it at..........huh.....wellllllllllllllllllllll:cool:

Oh that was a misprint. They got the decimal point in the wrong place. The ranch is .2 acres really. And it has an Arby's sign on it. :)
Tyme, I recieved one of those e-mails a few months back and wrote them back. I also posted on this board and looked it up. Here is the link to my post and you have to scroll down to read Dave Stewart's reply it is too funny.

Tim, thanks for re-posting that. I'd forgotten all about it. Funny stuff.
