OOPS!! Just realized I have not changed any of the pics on my website for at least 6 or 7 years...have no idea how I have managed to stay in business without posting new pics on there every day to prove I am actually guiding and my client's are catching fish.
For all anyone knows, I am just sitting home with my feet up every day and just posting on the internet that I am guiding and my clients are catching big fish. Could be the folks that are posting on the internet that they have been out with me and caught big fish and learned from me how to do this are really me just changing handles or people that I have paid to say such things....how does anyone know without pics? How about all those tournaments my clients have won...how can I prove it unless I go to the weigh in with them and have someone take our pics together?

What am I gonna do about all those folks that are non believers? How can I prove anything to them unless I start putting up pics?

Here is what I am gonna do: Nothing. I don't have anything to prove to anyone Elwood...and neither do you.

Now chill out....life is too short for all this drama and besides it is spoiling my Christmas spirit.

Look ! This site is for iformation and fun and i dont understand why some people want to question or try to piss off the others on here that are trying to have fun and provide information. As far as i have seen elnut's post are always helpful to me and im sure others. I dont post much unless i can help others with questions or report on a trip i have made. If you just cant stand the few haters out there elnut i understand and will miss your postings. Good luck fishing and merry x-mas and im sure thats a lot of people on here will miss ya ! Man I used to hear that same low-life, hide behind a keyboard, chicken poop crap all the time when I first started posting and hanging out in the bait shop talking about creek fishing. Bothered me at first. Now could care less....Do the same.
Trust me, these jokers wouldn't say that saem thing to anyone's one.

First off I agree with Dave that you dont have to prove yourself to anyone. I on the other hand, think you should take some time off. Spend some time with your family. Go fishing and enjoy what God has provided. You have had enough to worry about in the last 4 years and you are about to have a major surgery. I say you just take the time to get well and then consider coming back. There are many on here that will miss you if you chose to not come back. I hope you will consider coming back for the many that enjoy your posts. Please don't give the small minority the victory.

For CMIDD, Elwood and anyone else that cares to listen, I recently recieved an email with a bunch of "Life's Lessons", one of which I learned a long time ago, was:

I enjoy your posts and believe you do what you say you do - not just in fishing - but in life!

As you have read from the post there are a descent number of people that know you and don't know you, that love reading your stories. This has come up before with other guys as well on this forum and virtually every forum out there. This one stays clean though because it is heavily moderated other forums get pretty ugly for the same reason. There is and always will be, some guy behind a keyboard probably under an alias name just trying to stir the pot. I know guys on other forums un-fishing related that have as much as 3-4 different names, just to get things going because they get a kick out of it. Some of it is funny some of it is not, either way they should not be doing it and don't let guys like that get you fired up.

Kick back relax, fish when you can and post in between!
