Low this morning of 11 at my house and they say tonight it's gonna be worse. This is some nasty cold here and now they are saying we could be looking at 10 to 14 days of this crap before it rebounds to the balmy 30's.
I'm already done with this winter, it can't end soon enough for me, come'on spring, come'on spring.
Here we go again...it was 22 degrees when I went to bed last night. When I got up this morning it was snowing and it looks like we have to hunker down for the day.
I'm glad I have a fresh homemade apple cake and a pot of hot coffee brewing. Maybe it will soothe Sweetie Pie's nerves after he has walked 25 miles around and around through the house looking for nothing in particular. lol We are both outside people and days like this drive us nuts.
I think I am going to the store and buy me a 30 pack and lock myself in the house for the rest of the weekend.
Hey thats a good plan Tim. Darn I do agree with you folks that it is bitterly cold out. Some stupid Arctic breeze has put us back in the deep freeze. It is -20 Celsius with the windchill which is about -4 F. Man that is cold and with a wind CRAP! I wouldnt care except I am going out tonight and the wind will mess my hair! Then i will have to drink twice as much to get the chill out of my body right? oh well I will try to have a good time anyway!:D hmmm, I hope my car starts after sitting outside for a few hours not being plugged in. Now that might be a problem:(
Now you will have to be really dedicated to fish in that type of temps!
We got 17 smallies on a new years day wade. Good thing we went too it'll be the last time the flows aren't locked up.
8degrees with wind chill at 1 degree. Jeez, I thought I lived in Shepherdsville, not the frickin Arctic Circle!
yeah, i think i have to be done fishing now.
Just got back from wetting or icing a line! Took no bites and it felt good for the first 30 minutes or so but after that I started thinking of the warm house and food and football......so I held out for another hour and came home. Man it was cold!!!
Sunday morning at my house.
6 degrees, I have no idea what the wind chill was and don't care.
I'm with Tim, I'm waiting to see Artic Foxes amd Polar Bears any day.
They can have this nonsense.
Margie,
How in the wide wide world of sports can you handle living in Canada? Man this kinda cold sweeps through your neck of the woods first!!
I start my winter bass fishing classes this morning...have over 50 classes to teach between this month and last week of next month. There is a reason I am inside teaching classes and not guiding in the winter months..I am reminded every time I open the front door...LOL.
