Re: Kentucky Wildcats
Check any and all posts past and present, I have not dismissed for a second what an awesome college ball club Ky is this year. I'm not blinded by hate like some I see basketball for what it is and I'm certainly no expert but to talk the Cats season down this year would be mindless and quite frankly just stupid.
Wall is the bomb. Not only is the kid off the chart good but his court savy and player demenour is way past his young age. He will do great at the next level.
Cousins needs to find a good Dentist when he lands on his first NBA team, because somebody is gonna knock his teeth down his throat. I got news for Big Cuz, there are some guys in that league that will stomp an Industrial sized Mudhole in his a$$ and walk it dry. He'll catch on pretty quick.
Level of competition night in and night out for the Big East and the Sec are not comparable this year, NO way, check the stats.
Keep believing what you want,no amount of facts or stats will change your mind anyway,I do have one question for you. What has DeMarcus Cousins done to anyone beyond using his forearm to remind Swopshire not to knee him in the face anymore? Don't call me a liar,I was at the game sitting close enough to the court to see and hear how UL's players were behaving, they started trash talking UK players during warmups, running into their practice line on purpose, the Officials should have sat them down right then and straightened it out,but as evidenced in the LadyCards behavior at Georgetown the Officials have no jurisdiction until 15 minutes prior to gametime. The UL mens team came into Rupp looking for trouble and found it,then cried about it for weeks.I witnessed their actions and will swear on a stack of bibles as to how they behaved, just listen to Edgar Sosa's mouth next game or watch Reginald Delks behavior, they have a huge chip on their shoulders,Jerry Smith is no angel either.
DeMarcus Cousins has took cheap shots in every game since UL and nary a negative response, sounds like sour grapes to me.

I'd think it'd be safe to say that Cousins may take as good as he gives. He's 19...still growing..LOL~And he rolls around on the floor more than any other big man I've ever seen. He looks like Wojohowski(?) diving for the ball.
I'm just looking forward to Feb 13'th...ESPN Game Day in Lexington, Ky for the Tenn/UK game with Bobby Knight in the booth....He's going to get wore out all day...GameDay starts at noon and the UK game is at 9PM////

The knee was inadvertant and if you couldn't see that, then you wasted a lot of money on tickets, because you didn't see what the rest of the country saw from 5 different angles!
Oh btw, since you brought it up, please tell me about Delk's behavior. It is documented that Delk tried to rub off a pick 8 seconds in and was being held by Bledsoe. When a foul was called, Delk clapped his hands a couple of times and started to walking to the sideline to inbounds the ball. Bledsoe followed him, talking so much junk that Cal finally took him out to calm him down. Did it work? NO because Bledsoe stood on the UK sideline and kept running his mouth and even coach Cal couldn't calm him down. Didn't see it, here it is!

I find it amazing that every UK fan mentions the inadvertant knee, and calls it intentional, yet no national broadcaster or even the announcers doing the game said anything, when they had 1.) a much better seat than you and 2.) the benifit of replays from different angles. Oh btw, do you know what the halftime announcers said back at the studio?
Oops, did I read todays RPI right? Its hard to stay undefeated when you play in a really good conference, but when your strength of schedule is 150 in the RPI, I can see that.

Re: Kentucky Wildcats
If the knee was inadvertant what make you so sure the forearm wasn"t.

Re: Kentucky Wildcats
I would just like to say that this isn't college football where it matters where you are ranked throughout the year to have a National Title game in your future. This is college basketball and as long as you make the big dance you have a chance at a championship, so why all the hubub about being ranked number one or two. Who cares!!!! I hope UofL gets a 16 seed and goes all the way to win it all and all the UK fans can say well we were number one for x amount of weeks, blah blah blah. I hate UK but it doesn't matter if you don't win when it counts.

Uh, because he climbed on top of him after the whistle was blown, repositioned himself and then went Brock Lesnar on him!

Re: Kentucky Wildcats
Tim I'm not much of a copy and paste guy but maybe you should show them the video if you can find it of Patterson and Thugousins stomping on the bird in Freedon Hall earlier this year. I wonder if that may have started any jaw jacking in that game?
Of course that was just all in fun though.......................

He may very well be a tough Son of a Gun I don't doubt that but I would still pay to see him get his ass kicked, and guarantee ya there is somebody out there that can do it.

There's a few here at work that noticed the same thing. Seems all the other teams since have made it a point to bump, grab, ect....a little more than ususal. Ref's seem to be letting them play it out as long as it doesn't turn confrontational. It's good for him. Make him really keep his temper in check and show him how to use that to his advantage. Grow him up a little.
The knee was NOT intentional, but we, as fans, only see the after math. We weren't on the floor at that moment....LOL!!!! That highlight will be shown for a long time to come.
UK....ALL THE WAY!!!!!!

Re: Kentucky Wildcats
Billy I gotta give you some credit, you are the first UK guy that I have heard yet say they didn't think that knee was on purpose.
It's no mystery I don't like Cousins but he is a heck of a ball player. Your right he has earned a reputation and is getting tested I will admit that as I watch most all of the Cats games. I also will admit I'm surprised he hasn't went OJ on somebody yet to. Maybe the young fella has more restraint than I've been giving him credit for.
Go Cards.
