Re: navionics dvd
In some of the lakes we fished up north, pike were a nuisance, why because they are an aggresive fish, will hit bass lures musky lures crappie jigs, and even perch you are fishing for. Love em. great early season fish up north cause eye season is closed, bass are closed, but pike will bite. They even started to come back on lake michigan.

Re: navionics dvd
I bought it and do like it. The features are very cool...the 3d is a little overrated...but haven't checked it out on any of the High Def maps. You can zoom in and print large views of small areas. Definitely not a waste of $20. If you are looking for a specific lake...post it and I'll let you know if the DVD has it.
Does it have Patoka on it? I went to the website a few weeks ago and from my memory it did not list Patoka or Monroe, which just seemed strange for the two biggest and most fished lakes in Indiana not to be listed?
If Patoka is listed how much detail does it show?
-
Re: navionics dvd
It does have Monroe, Patoka, Boggs, and many other Indiana lakes. You can get Patoka in HD via a one time deal from Navionics...or any other lake that comes in HD. It is only good on PC's and has the following requirements: 1) Windows XP or Vista 2) DVD Drive
3)500 MB RAM 4) 1 GHz processor 5) Minumum 1024 x 768 16-bit display.
To view the availbale lakes go to www.fugwi.com/hme-lakelist.html
I think its a GREAT bargain for what you get and do with the maps. I am waiting to see the 3D views on my free HD download.....North KY Lake. The booklet says it comes in 3 ft. contour lines....maybe that will help find the right ledges :)

Re: navionics dvd
Thanks - gives me something else to do until spring.

Re: navionics dvd
You all saying that it has good detail, how close are the contour lines on lakes like Nolin and Rough? The Hotmaps are every 15 ft which isn't really very good. Are the lines closer on this DVD. Been thinking for a long time about buying one these.

Re: navionics dvd
I just checked.......and.....Nolin is at 15 ft. contours and Rough is 5 and 10 ft. contours. Neither one comes in HD....which has increased contour definition.

Re: navionics dvd
Still on the fence to buy one or not. First like to know if it has Barkley on it, if so what's the contours and is it in 3D and/or HD? Thanks.
