With the year UofL is having along with Syphergate..I think there is a little truth to all of this drama. Remember 1997 "I will 100% be the coach at the University of Kentucky next year"...as he was getting on a plane for Boston.
Of course he will deny interest in the job. It kills recruiting when your name is in the mix for another job.

UK loses a lot of them, but then again they didn't have any of them on the roster at the end of last year other than Patterson. Maybe we'll have a whole new crop of starting freshmen.
I don't care much for sports but from what I can tell I'd say Pitino has lost some of his passion or fire that he used to have. Either this or he's burnt out on the lack of game his players have been bringing to the court. Heck they're all grown men (the players), they know or should know how to play ball, Pitino can't play for them. Of course his personal issues are probably taking there toll on him too.
