it is tough right now to be with lowrance, which i am...obviously i am not happy about linda like many others...at this point i hope someone buys navico and gets them back on target before the entire ship is sunk. who knows. definitely tough stuff.
that is why i have only owned humminbird for the past 4 years. i knew to many people who have had proublems with lowrance.
I have had to wait a long time also. As long as 20 min. but I would wait it out. When I did get through, they were very helpful and nice. They are prob. like everywhere else. Lowrance won't pay to have enough cust reps.
I had a 520c that would lock up as well, Lowrance told me to pull the chip out with it on and it will reset. Lowrance said it does not hurt the unit to do that on the Lowrance so I did it and it cured the problem. I had to do this about 4 times within a year but it does fix the problem. Hope it works for you.

Yes I talked to her a while back. I guess they are just slow with their response.
I think I woke her up with a firm e-mail.
Lowrance had my unit for 8 months. They are junk and their warranty work is a joke. They and A2O have gotten their last dollars out of me. A2O knowingly sold me a unit that they were having loads of problems with. After spending $800.00 for my unit, it worked for a whole 2 weeks. A lesson learned the hard way!
