Hows that change working out for our country now that barry is in office? The man has spent more than any other President and we still have major issues. How much has been spent and how is unemployment? What do you think happens when you print so much money that the economy is flooded with it? It becomes worthless...translated=inflation. We're all free to speak out minds on this board, however, you are going to be outnumbered in a BIG WAY. Were you headed to NY City or L.A. and end up in KY somehow? A liberal slant is going to hard to find on a Kentucky fishing chat board. I'm just sayin'... From here on out I think I'd stick commenting on a jig or crankbait conversation. DJD speaks a lot of truth. It's extremely sad that our left leaning federal governement is fighting, shoving and clawing for all it's worth to pass this gov run healthcare bill. THE MAJORITY DO NOT WANT IT!!! That being the case, why are Pelosi and others wheeling and dealing to "buy" votes to pass it? It's political suicide for SO MANY who are involved. If it passes, a lot of folks in Congress and Senate will lose their seats (the largest majority will be dems. That makes me happy!). If it doesn't pass, well, Obama will be considered a huge failure for not getting it done. Mark my word, there will be a huge shift when Obama gets voted out in 2012. Lets just hope too much damage is not done between now and then. A fiscal conservative government majority will help get us back on track as long as they follow that path.

Now, getting back to the talk radio issue. Why are Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Cunningham and the like so popular? Is it because, as you would say, they lie and stretch the truth? They are successful on talk radio because the majority in Americans share their values and beliefs. And here's a good questions for you... Why don't left wingers have successful talk radio programs? I'm sure people would be tuning in all over the USA to listen to The Rev. Jackson or Al Gore or Jerimiah Wright. NO!!! That wouldn't happen!!! Do you know why? Radio advertisers don't invest in a loser. And liberal-slanted radio would be a loser.

THE ANT AND THE Grasshopper

video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the Grasshopper and everybody
cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green ...'

ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, "We shall overcome." Then Rev. Jeremiah
Wright has the group kneel down to pray to God for the Grasshopper's sake.

President Obama condemns the Ant and blames
President Bush, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the Grasshopper's plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the Ant has gotten rich off the back of the Grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the Ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity &
Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of
the summer.

The Ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of Green Bugs and, having nothing left to
pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the Grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the Grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the Ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the Ant's old house, crumbles around them because the Grasshopper doesn't maintain it.

The Ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.

The Grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over
by a gang of Spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and once peaceful, neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

MORAL OF THIS STORY:

This Country is absolutely right of center. I think I was generous giving the Liberal left 40% of the population figure...
All you have to do is look at past and soon to be future elections and you will see that when someone runs on a highly conservative, limited goverment platform, that the nealy sweep all districts unless you are in one of the liberal meccas. A great example of this is Reagan with 49 states.
As far as me twisting what you said....I didn't twist anything.. If you say that someone is an idiot because of their views. I can only logically deduce that someone else with the same views is also an idiot. per your own analysis. It would appear to me that many others on this site agree and took your post the same way.. Now that being said... I don't think that I'm an idiot and I do believe about 90 percent of what those guys say. I think that Rush is one of the most arrogant and conceited public figures, but what he says is spot on most of the time..
I think SMLJAW's story is absolutely correct and shows how our society is decaying morally and many believe they are entitled.
And another thing... The world isn't fair and everybody else isn't entitled to my $$ or land or stuff. The only thing everyone else is entitled to do is fail!! It is not the goverments job to take care of everybody. Only to make sure that there is a good working infrastructure and keep them safe through a strong defense. Keep on keeping your eyes closed and I would recommend keeping those liberal views locked up too...

I know the real numbers out there and I think you all do too..that's why your all tore up that Sarah and the "Maverick" didn't get elected....And by the way don't talk about spending money when Bush spent 10 billion a week on a war that he lied about and cost many young people their lives...Everyone knew including Bush that Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11....If Bush hadn't been in office 9-11 would have never happened...You guys forget it took Bush 8 years to completely destroy the US economy...Why not give Obama at least a couple years to get it straightened out????
