Maybe 10-11" on the biggest. Most under that. They are going nuts right now though. They are hitting everything. I put a beetle spin on the other day just messing around in the cove that has the road and stumps and they just hammered it. Caught 20 or so in about a hour.
Re: There goes the neighborhood - article on Bluegrass in the paper .
Glad to hear that , I took a days vacation Friday and me and my brother will be on Bluegrass pit off the back ramp . Suppose to storm Sat. , the wind will be out of the south Friday and it will be 67 deg. so it should be a great day . Of course a bad day fishin is better than a good day at work ! My bro fished there Tuesday and lost a nice 7-8lb bass right at the boat , it lunged and cut his line on the back of the jon boat . Oh well . Plan on throwing out a slip bobber with a minnow deep for bigger crappie and fish for bass while watching it . Plan on starting out with spinnerbaits and senko's . Will post results tomorrow . Oh , if anybody has a trolling motor to sell PM me . Thanks .

I'll be out there most of the day Friday. I'll be in my tracker and black xterra swing by and say hello. Hit the rip rap across from the other ramp. I did pretty well bouncing a jig down it and the old ramp that's grown over the other day. They've been wanting the jigs and worms pretty slow btw.

was there yesterday afternoon, caught 5 small ones on a senko, the bass would pick the jig up and drop it. the week before poped some nice ones on a jig
Re: There goes the neighborhood - article on Bluegrass in the paper .
well i hope it went as good for you guys as it did for me. didn't go to bluegrass, but went to my secret hole. caught lots around 2 lbs, and landed a bucketmouth...9 pounder, biggest bass of my life. today was definitely the day to be out on the water!
Re: There goes the neighborhood - article on Bluegrass in the paper .
Didn't make it out at all. My son got sick so I hung out at the house. I'll be out all day tomorrow. See ya guys then. Most likely in a tan fisher so swing by and say hello.

Re: There goes the neighborhood - article on Bluegrass in the paper .
Fished BG pit from back ramp today - 2 very small bass on minnows , no crappie and the wind got bad in the afternoon . Tried 4" & 5" Senkos , trolled cranks & slow rolled some spinnerbaits but the wind made it difficult . Had to leave about 2:30PM & had 4 trucks waiting to launch when we left . Loon pit ramp looked packed too . Plan on hitting the honey hole Sat. morning before the rain gets here .
Re: There goes the neighborhood - article on Bluegrass in the paper .
If you plan on fishing Bluegrass or Loon Pit this Sat morning good luck finding a parking spot. By 6:30 am BG had 8 boat trailer and Loon's parking lot was filling up. I saw 4 trailers parked along the entry road to Loon. Estimate that there were at least 5 or 6 trailers in the parking lot of Loon Pit North End. South End of Loon had one trailer and Otter Pit had zero trailers.
Should be packed today.
