I have a few things I could donate a couple boxes of XPS Flouracarbon 12lbs. Some fresh poured homemade football jigs? If that helps? I could drop them in the mail from here in eastern ky.

First off, without getting all emotional and stuff....you guys don't know how much this means to me. I was thinking very irrationally about things last night and my fiance says "John, you don't think the guys you've been fishing with for years (LMBC club members) would lend you some stuff for the time being...I would do the same if anything happened to them"...Although she's heard it enough, she was right.
I would like to thank each and every one of you who has offered to let me borrow or donated material. I've been in contact with Elwood and Eddie and those two guys are class acts. As far as mailing, as of right now I'm not going to have any more fishing stuff sent to my home so I having packages sent to my U of L office. I'm not asking for anything, but if you wanted to send a few things just shoot me an email at j0king01@louisville and I will help you out with anything that I can do for you as well...except for free front row seats to games...I cant even get those.
Elwood if you are going to meet people in Lexington please post the time and location and I will try to be there. If not I have a box of stuff I could mail you. And for you JOHNKING it sounds like you are going to have an early christmas. All I ask for in return is that if you get anything you dont think you will use please donate it to the fishing for kids program. Once again I am amazed by the people that visit this board and how they are willing to help someone they dont even know.
Elwood, we talked this morning. When i got home today I put together a care package for John. Would like to see this stuff put to good use. Call me at 859-519-7013 next Tuesday and we can get together Wednesday sometime. Look forward to meeting you.

Once again...you guys are awesome. I got a few leads on who took it, but I probably will never see the stuff again.
If anything, the one positive from all this is that it makes a guy realize even more why he loves fishing and the people he fishes with. It's truly a passionate thing to know people will do something like this for a beat-down guy. As I said before, if you need anything from me...I would be more than happy to give back as well.
Some great guys on this board! I wish I had some extra tackle I could help with. Right now Im down to the bare necessities fishing wise. If you fished Dale as a co-angler in BFL I guess we're both co-anglers in the mountain division.
Nope, I fish with Louisville Metro Bass Club. We shot up in Wolf River though...but so did everybody and their brother. Lots of bass cruising the back shallows of creeks but they spooked very easily.
I would like to help out anyway i can.. I've got plenty of extra tackle. Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jigs.. I'll muster up what i can and send them in the mail.
