don't be suprised what a sling shot and big steel ball bearings will accomplish when idiots get on the water. If you hit there boat they will think twice about running so close next time. :D

Most guys (especially if alone) will have something a little more powerful than a sling shot with them. If you have time turn the bow of your boat into their wake and ask the lord for the strength to keep your middle finger beside of your other fingers.
One of my rod in rod locker was replaced with 12ga. slug.
Fired a few rounds. Couldn't take it anymore.
Maybe I should switch it to bird shots so I don't kill morons.
How do you approach this situation at say Kentucky Lake? IN the spring at winter pool, you are wise to follow the navigation bouys as the water is real shallow for running at speed. BUt on Blood river there is literally a crappie fisherman every 50 yrds parked right on the channel...so if i slow down for every boat that is knowingly parked in teh only place that you can safely run on plane, it will take me 2 hours to get to any hole to fish... so do you slow down 36 times between holes or assume that these guys expect to get waked since they are hovering in the highway???

if you pass me, I like it best if you stay up on plane. get as far away as possible. but stay on plane. I think this leaves less wake. :)
