Sounds s like the name of this thread should have been, "This is why I love Doug work (onemorecast). Substituting Doug for Fishin.com in the original subject line.

I took my boat over yesterday, yes on a sunday, doug saw me pass his house, and came and got me.He said he would have my deck extension ready by wednesday, that sounded just great, only problem is that my locator arrived today,two days early!But I will sit on my hands and refrain from calling him.Buts its hard when you are suffering from a major fishing jones!

Yeah very true BUT, I would have never found Doug if it hadn't been for Fishin.com!

Hey if you want i`ll be done with it by tomorrow afternoon if you want to pick it up early. I wouldn`t want you to have to go thru the fisdhin jone`s too long. I got the deck built today ,all I got to do is put the carpet on... give me a call and i`ll tell you what time to come get it...looks good too

Was over at Doug's when he put your extension in...Your boat looks great, your gonna love it...Especially with it carpeted...

Anyone know somebody who can install a pump impeller on my 1993 Evinrude 150 for less than the boat dealer mechanics? I have the part, but chickened out on installing it myself.

sure did a great job! got a casting deck, and a dog house all for one price!Bad thing, the boat is so clean, the lady friend wants to go fishing.Cant wait to start buzz baiting over those sunken bushes, walking those slugos in the trees.

johnny, i replaced my impeller on my 93 johnson 60hp last fall. not bad at all if you have the manual, but definitely helps if you have an extra hand. what were the mechanics charging?
