An elkhorn float sounds good to me. I can bring an extra yak if that Mhall fellar wants to join the fun. Probably can't this weekend cause I got some family stuff going on. Next weekend should be open.

Let's do it...but we probably need a little water before we do a float...
I'm up for a wade on that certain small unnamed creek that we know and love...anytime.
Would love for that Mhall feller to join also...just as long as he doesn't wear Louisville Cardinal attire, or bring along carry out from Porcini's.
Of course, if the fish don't bite, I could always take you boys to the golf course and we can see which is longer - A fairway shot with my 7-iron or an APB cast with a 6-ounce wooden plug.
At least we haven't hijacked this thread or anything. LOL Sorry!
Hijacked ain't the word, lol. I'm coming **** it and Hell and Louisville Hats, jackets, socks, flags, stickers and Pasta Prematura is coming with me.....
Pasta Prematura! LOL...:D
Might also have to wait for a little more flow in the creek for the wade too. May be check on things mid week next week and go from there.
Couldn't understand Mark's post. Did he say he was bringing the shore lunch

Shore lunch, "Smoked Cardinal, BBQ Cardinal, Fried Cardinal, Cardinal and Eggs, Grilled Cardinal ...... etc" sounds real tasty. Add some fava beans and a nice kianti and you will have a meal that even Hannibal will eat.
Yeah.
Splitshot's Boat Dock, Taxidermy, Pest Control, Live Bait, Ammo, Liquor Store, Smoke Shop, House of Ill Repute, Used Cars, and Canoe Livery...dot com.
The business card itself would weigh 60 pounds.
LMAO
....and no gas? You may want to add pedal boats to that list. lol
I figure we could have a "yak" challenge over the spillway. Well maybe not.....
thanks for the serious replies about what this particular thread was intended for...
Sorry man I'm guilty on some of the hijacking but I do wonder why the asking price isn't posted? Maybe a link to see the property up for sale? Does he have it advertised?
Your initial post said you would pass on info per email so I guess it seemed the thread was fair game. If actual info on the property would have been posted I don't think it would have taken such a silly course...know what I mean?:)

Sorry about the distraction. I have some friends who owned a boat dock with 225 slips, most covered, and a campground. They sold it for $1.5 million four years ago, TVA owned the land. The new owner was a bipolar schitzo who had never run anything but trailer parks. She went bonkers and closed the campground except for 1/2 dozen motor homes, closed the boat ramp and reopened it for a parking fee of $35/day, closed the store so there was no gas, bait, snacks, beer, or emergency boat towing. Our slip rent went up to $1,400/year for nothing but docks covered in goose squat and spiders. We pulled out and so did almost everyone else. She mortgaged her house to buy the place and the payments were $10,000 per month with barely enough income to pay the light bill. It recently sold for $1 million and there is reason to believe it was a bank foreclosure.
This is the best info I can provide for you.
This place is small. No boat dock just a ramp to a creek and some camping. He did a nice job of putting in a tackle shop and bathrooms by renovating the old barn. Sure would be nice to see a fisherman or group pick this up.
