You know..........
The funny thing is that I used to keep it inside the cab of my truck........
Well, last spring, during one of those blistering days, I had a gallon of oil explode in the truck and man, oh man did it make a freakin mess. Fortunately, I had some of those husky mats in the back or I would have had to recarpet the truck.
After that fiasco, I started putting a gallon or so in the back of the truck. I've driven around for nearly a year with a gallon of Opti in a 1 gallon milk jug with no issues. Just so happens, I decided to use real opti jugs instead of those lightweight plastic jugs, so I purchased 2 gallons of real opti from BPS and have been reusing the jugs at A20 with bulk oil.
I bet had the oil been in milk jugs, it would still be there.
Later,
Geo

So George, have you checked on the surveillance camera thing? Filed a police report?
I think all thieves should be shot, then run over with a truck, then thrown in a wood chip grinder, then drown, and then shot again, and if there is anything left throw that back through the wood grinder again.

I agree Mark. Last night one of my relatives was telling me that her sister-in-law stole her $5,000 wedding band off the cabinet while she was washing dishes at her house last weekend. It turned into a fake search and, 'it may have fallen on the floor and the cat got it,' etc. My relative called her the next afternoon and told her straight up that her ring was stolen, she was the only other person in the kitchen, and if it wasn't found in 5 minutes she and the police would be there and tear that house down to the foundation or find her ring. Exactly 4 minutes later she received a call back telling her the ring had been found under the microwave on the other side of the kitchen. My relative told her that she was on her way to her house and she had better make sure the ring didn't get lost again before she got there. She walked in, snatched her ring out of the sister-in-law's hand and slammed the door on her way out of the house.
I have always believed that if a person needs $100, ask me and I'll give it to them. If they steal $1.00 from me, they are about to have a serious problem.

Agree with ya Bug. Have a funny spin on your ring situation. Bro in law calls me one time to borrow by car woofers while it was down for a motor repair. He just want to see if they would fit and how they sound. My car got done, and I wanted the borrowed speakers back, he'd had them for about a month or so. Dude came up with tons of excuses on why he was having a hardtime returning them. Took several conversations and I admit some strong language. Erked me, brother in law, family, helped him out to make a better buying decision, and then he did he best to swindle me out of them. I thought I was being petty for letting a pair of speakers come between family members......until it dawned on me......why would he, a family member, even consider taking advantage of a family member. Then it sank in, if he was capable and remorseless enough to act like that, then from there on out, I treated him like an acquaintance, and never extended any for of support above that which I'd do for a total strranger. Still do to this day, 15 years later. All he has to do is look me in the eye, and sincerely apologize.
Given that, we'd be back to even, his slate clear, and all he'd need do is have a perfect record for 15 more years to once again earn back a fresh start position. If it takes 15 years for trust to go away, why should it grow back any faster.
