Its kinda funny that you say that walkeravaitor because it seems like big spots are like big smallies. Here one day and gone the next and they tend to follow baits to the boat just like smallies do. I think i'm gonna head down to nolin the first of next week and try my luck for them cause i have caught spots on rough up to about 2lbs and nolin looks like it would have good ones in but i want that water temp to drop a few more degrees. thats when i seem to get the better than average fish on topwater.

If you want some pretty good eating, nothing compared to Crappie, Walleye or Striper, but pretty good in the same, Spots caught in the cold water of winter are pretty tasty.

Had 1 today at Green around 3 Lb. Fat as mud & very aggressive.

I know this has nothing to do with these lakes but I cleaned up on spots today, caught several in a private lake some almost 2 lbs faught all the way and jumped out of the water lot of fun. Pound for pound they are fighting machines.
