Lol I thought the same thing! Big difference in the two."
Not really. My comment was a tongue in check reply to Don's off-topic Obama comment. Seriously dude, that man-love you have for him has gotten stop  :D <---- Smily inserted so you can tell its a joke, sort of :p
Would you feel better if I had said, yeah, we've elected at least two actors as Govenors, a "pro" wrestler-actor as govenor, a bad 70's pop singer as senator, and a comedian as a senator.
Getting back on topic, I think it would be interesting if you could select "none of the above". If a candidate did not get a certain percentage of the vote, the results nullified and a new election takes place. If nothing else it would let the candidates know that we thought they all suked so bad that we didn't want any of them.
I seem to remember hearing a few years back that in KY they do not even count write in candidates anymore. Anyone know if that is the case?
Andrew
So whats going to change? We had a NO vote incumbent, and now were going to replace him with another NO vote?Looks like its 2 more years of grid lock. Now its Reps @Dems, what happened to americans? Paul may claim to be a libertaraian, but he sounds like a kook, besides when we learn, its all BS, they blow in your ear, and then they service us.

This is why we have to get everyone involved in voting out incumbents until the only people left who want to run for the office are those serious about their campaign promises and not worried about getting re-elected or lining their own pockets with lobbyist money.

Hey now!:p That's a low blow....errr well you know what I mean.:D
I'm not an American citizen so I cannot vote but here's one thing (above many others) that worries me about Rand Paul: He touts himself openly as "not a career politician but a doctor".
Why would anyone vote for a doctor over a politician for a political job? It's like choosing a tennis player as the quarterback for your favourite football team!
All he's going to do is learn on the job and that specific political position is too high a position for that to happen!
Just my twopennorth!
DAVE
Yeah I love it when he says, "I'm not a politician, I'm a doctor." OK, Rand, but you're a doctor WHO WANTS TO BE A POLITICIAN!! I also find it disgusting that in one of his ads he has one of his patients talking about how good a doctor he is. To me, that's totally abusing the doctor/patient relationship, and strikes me as highly unethical.
Jack Conway is no better.
Much as I hate to waste a vote, I can't in good conscience vote for either one of these clowns.
I'm so excited I just might go and take a crap in the woods. Not going to vote for either of the two .....! Hey, what if they both got ZERO votes?
Yeah, like we even voted in an actor as president one time :p
AND I'd love to have his wisdom around for a little longer. Too bad the FOOL in office now and the demi FOOL who was in before him could not hold Reagan's JOCKSTRAP.

I don't think I could, either. GROSS!!!
I voted this morning...I think I was gently and silently being persuaded to vote Democrat because there were two of the prettiest sign holder ladies I think I've ever seen, standing there, waving their Democratic nominee signs. They weren't on the grounds of the voting property, they were across the street, which is where I parked...it didn't work though. I kept my head down and took care of business with the RIGHT party in mind! Sex sells and those political rascals no it. Be aware fella's, be very aware! LOL...
