GREAT POST COL
I believe this site is only as good as it's worst members. I'm new to this site and I joined becuase of the information that is SHARED on here. I am a very avid tournament fisherman and I don't mind at all giving up the area of the lake I caught my fish in and the bait I caught them on because I have spent enough time oncthe water to know that I could fish a spot right behind you and catch fish were you struck out.
I apologize if my post sounded cocky like could go behind anyone and catch fish. What I meant was that anyone can go behind anybody else and catch fish that that first person didn't. Fishing paterns can change by the hour. I don't see a thing with sharing the details if my success or failure. The only thing I won't do is share my game plan the day before a tournament, but after the tournament is over I will tell all
Hey guy, white doll flys in the backs of coves, sorry man, old family fishing tourney joke, four brothers and a lot of competition, but we sure had alot of fun, sorry again for jacking your post, Im sure we would have a great day on the water together! Tight lines dude.
I've helped people out...I think JWP might have been one that i gave some information to....I don't care to tell the generalities of a pattern or what kinds of baits are working best for me but I'll be danged if I'm gonna tell somebody where to go sit on brushpiles that I put out....Fishing isn't "hard work"...its very enjoyable...however putting in the hours to put the brushpiles out to make my fishing trips more enjoyable is hard work.....I can understand telling somebody an area of a lake to concentrate on but I wouldn't ever expect someone to give me a spot....you can share information but expecting someone to tell you HOW to catch them is crazy....would you rather they go with you, hook the fish, and hand you the pole
I used to give "tips/secrets" when i could catch fish, but since that **** dam deal on the Big-C I don't think I could catch a fish with a net at the bleepin' hatchery. I do remember once that I got too specific on a nighttime striper spot and I swear I had 20 boats on the spot. I also gave plenty of how-to and when-to tips by PM and sadly only had one fella(kybrim) ever give me a follow-up on how it went and to thank me. So if nothing else, when receiving a tip, please follow up with how your trip went and a thanks.
This is a complex issue...I am on both sides of the fence with this one.
Great information Bob...does this work for ALL squirrels, including albinos or just gray squirrels?
For albinos, use the white velcro, and for grey squirrels, use the blck velcro.
Never use green velcro. Nightcrawlers mistake it for maiting turf.
And I think the real mission of this board, is to generate enough hits, to make the folks that run it $$ when they can sell advertizing space. And that makes sense to me and seems absolutely fair. In providing a service, the hits rack up, and its the hits the advertizers want to see before paying for space. So I'd like to see us all post everything twice so the moderators can get filty rich and take us all fishing!:)
I kiss and tell but no one beleves me,so now i take a picture.lmao Pictures last longer and iphone makes it easy too post live too facebook.I'm on other sites but here in Ky we all know this site rocks.Look me up on FB its Terry Adolph :cool::cool::cool:

I give you an A+ for originality! That's great!

The moderators here make the exact same amount of money that you make off this site.
I feel I may have stirred this pot myself with my comments about "keeping a lid on it" on a thread about where and how some fish were caught. It is what it is a discussion board where we're going to dicuss fishing and things with people on the world wide web. To each his own tell your secrets or not. Beleive it or not. It's up to each and everyone of us to take from these discussions what we may. To put our opinions in as we see fit. We wouldn't call them honey holes if they did'nt produce fish. Granted don't know of any honey hole I know of that produces fish 100% of the time. I know some very productive areas and dont mind shareing to help a guy out. Just like someone said "to ruin a guys fishin hole is to tell the world". So I for one will keep it to myself as opposed to telling the world. My choice I have that right. Send me a pm I'll answer as I have in the past. Lot of people visit this site and I for one enjoy it. I've learned from it and made friends off it and tell my friends about it, but most of us are total strangers who will never cross paths. So one persons opinion won't ruffel my feathers. It's 100% water and 10% has fish. Do with it what you may you are under no obligation.
