They looked pretty good today against UNLV as far as I could tell they looked pretty good anyway, they won, lol...
What did you think about the game Mills?
The Cards are looking pretty good...gotta hand it to them.
I still say UK squeaks one out, but it's gonna be close.
Trying to come up with the friendly wager that I'm going to make with MHall....I'll get back to you after Christmas. LOL
All Louisville has to do is stop Knight or Jones. They don't have to stop them both just one of them and Louisville wins by three in a heartbreaker. Coach Cal goes on suicide watch and the Ky faithful wants his nads on a marshmallow stick for the bonfire.
Ky has not faced a defense yet this year like they are going to see that day. Las Vegas has been a scoring juggernaut all year and Louisville held them to two field goals in over 10 minutes of play in the second half. If Jennings can get 9 rebounds inside and block a few shots on Harrelson, make Ky earn it from outside, the Cats my go home with the raw a ss. I also could see a bad shooting performance by The Ville and see Ky winning by 10 also. But anybody wants to give me 18 points lets roll, I'm all over that bet !!!!!!
Actually I think Lamb, Liggins, and Miller are the key to KY pulling out a W over the cards.....It'll be a game where whoever knocks down the outside shot wins....just like I think most of UK's games this year will be....Although the Cats are an improved jump shooting team this year nobody, and i mean nobody, can win strictly from the perimiter....If you can't get anything going inside, and the Cats can't, you won't win on a consistent basis....The one thing I think the Cats have that UNLV didn't is a stifeling defense...All the young kids are still learning their defensive assignments and rotations but it's starting to come together....All in all it will be a good game....I look for the Cats to pull away at the end and win by 8
Yea I haven't forgot about those three, they really pushed Ky into that win Saturday. Lamb is a good shooter, Liggins is streaky but has his moments. Seems that Miller is Calipari's whipping boy, he screams at that boy constantly, lol. I think Buckles at the four spot can give any of those three fits and Kurich is starting to play like he did last year. Playing in the new arena, fans are gonna make some noise, we'll see what them young fellas are made of.
Could be a real barn burner...
To say Liggins is streaky offensively might be giving a little too much credit....but man he has become a tenacious lock down defender....Never was a big fan of his until this year when he's actually acting like he wants to be out there....practicing against last years team was the best thing that could have happened to him....I can't wait to watch the game for sure
