Re: Carret stick rods
I have a kisstler magnesium rod and love it. And their is a big difference in rods some you pay to much for and can get the same for cheaper but their is a difference. I was at bps looking to get a new rod looked at the carroit stix, boyed duckets, skeet reeses, and a few others. The guy helping me said they have had a lot of the carrot stixs come back that had been broken. The same for the new ducket rod and the skeet Reese rods. So I ended up getting a Abu Garcia veritas in a casting rod and a spinning rod paired the casting with a bps pro qualifier and the spinning with a pfleuger president. Got home cast my kisstler mag which I love my falcon low rider and the veritas in the yard and believe it or not the veritas was way mor sensitive then both and I thought my kisstler mag was sensitive but it is awesome and the falcon was the least out of the three don't know how durable they are but the guy at bps said that they haven't had any come back with any problems and "Ike" backs this rod and fished with it all last year it's the white rod he was using. And the kicker it's only $99.00 good price for the sensitivity of a high end rod. Can't wait to actually go to the lake and use theme. If I was you go to bps talk to the guys over their and they will shoot you straight and check out the veritas I think it's gonna end up being my favorite rod I own. Hope this helps.
