Louisville's basketball program was the top revenue producer and profit maker in college basketball back in 2007...I don't know where they fit in now, but I don't think they're down in the bread line. LOL
Forbes Magazine did a good article awhile back about "College Basketball's Richest Teams"....looked at a combination of several different aspects...I believe Louisville was 3rd, UK was 2nd, and UNC was 1st at the time.
IMO , UofL has two teams , the team that shows up and plays their hearts out and works together and actually plays as ONE and the lazy team that couldnt buy a shot , will go ten minutes without a basket , looses track of how to play defense and does NOT work together as a TEAM !!
i really cant comment on how KY is playing because i have not watched a entire game this year but if they show up sharp and on top of their game ( they usually do ) then UofL has got to step up and not slack oo like they have the tendency of doing.
UofL wins , 85-76 in yet another epic battle for bragging rights in the commonwealth !!!!

BTW , i will be there , we bought the 5 game package deal they had for $175 the seats are horrible but i have never had the chance to see them play each other except on TV
Dang near went to fist to cuffs in the barber shop with a extremely over the top fan. The Barber had to ask him to settle down or leave, lol. According to him and some others UK fans I've had to endure this past week, UofL maybe should just forfeit this game outright and not show up due to embarrasment. I'm having rabid fans puke 20 point blowout, ''EASY'' stuff on me. REALLY, I mean really, is it gonna be that bad. I don't see it Ky as that dominant a team guys. I'm not talking smack here but I just don't see them beating up Louisville like they stole grandma's rent money. Other than Jones and maybe Knight doesn't Louisville match up pretty well and aren't those two I just mentioned Freshmen? If Louisville gets spanked, so be it I'll take my arse riding like a man, but God forbid Louisville kicks butt, cause I'm gonna get some mileage out of this baby, all I've heard is smack for two weeks and I mean BAD smack.

I'm going to hopefully watch my first Cards game tonite...I don't think Knight matches up well either. Yeah he's got his points...but room for improvement. Cards gonna have a task if Jones gets hot early. That falls into place it maybe a long nite for Cards fans....If it doesn't and Jones gets popped with some early fouls. It will be long nite for UK...

I am similar to Billy. I plan to catch my first Cats game tonight. I have watched bits and pieces of some of their games and seen highlights, but not watched a whole game.

Preston will do one of two things IMO... he will go off because UK didn't recruit him even though he was at their back door, or he will try so hard to prove his point that he will look terrible.
The way U of L wins this game is by their depth and hopefully get UK in foul troble. I think the confidence that the Cards have with their passing and shooting, along with the home crowd, gets the cards a 6 point win.
If it comes down to coaching, I like our Italian better than UK's Italian! :D

Tim, I'm worried sick about this. Knowles has yet to have a big game against UK. He gets so jacked up he can't play. Knowles is emotional sometimes too much, just keep it in check Preston, please.
