My boat runs 45-48 mph flat out depending on the wind. Fast enough for me and very stable. I don't want a boat where I have beads of sweat dripping from trying to control it, I like that in my cars and ATV's. LOL
Everyone has their limits, know and respect yours and others. If you aren't comfortable driving a boat at 60mph, don't think you have to just because so and so does.
