Art - You ever been there? Very shallow in the upper end but looks awesome I was plum worn out just drooling over the lilly pads.
I've been there a couple of times, but for duck hunting. An aluminum boat is a must - stumps EVERYWHERE! I bought an aluminum rig this past fall that should be perfect for it.
looks like another year at taylorsville and Guist creek lake. Maybe throw in a little Cumberland. I can't catch fish there but the girls can get a little wild. Maybe someday soon I will get back to my former salary and be able to put El Salto back on the schedule. If anyone is looking for a butcher send them my way. Thanks
Kentucky Lake in March, then my usual haunts... Nolin, Rough, Barren. I plan on doin a whole lot more wading in local creeks this year. The fish are small but have zero pressure so it is a good way to go have fun catchin...
wading upper tules creek is a blast !!!!!! lets go .
Kentucky lake the first week of April, Ohio and Ky. rivers, Guist Creek, Taylorsville, Lake Shelby, Lake Jericho the rest of the year. Propably going to hit Cumberland, Nolin, and Green river all at least once some time this year.
I keep planning to hit Malone on my way
to Ky/Barkley but I never have. Is it worth
fishing?
I would really like to try Guntersville in May, it seems like thats when the bass are really stacked on the main lake drops on mussel beds, and you can really tear them up if you find the right spots, I have been there in March, and it was hit or miss in the shallow water on rattle traps, it was fun, but nothing like what I expected, so I would really like to try it then. Would also like to try to fish Kentucky lake this spring, sometime in April.
