Re: Kentucky 84 Ohio State 60
54-30 in the second half and I nail the score right on the head. At least, I have Ohio State on pace to score 60 at the half. Now if Kentucky will have any players that have not fouled out by the end of the game will be the question. Knight, Jones and Lamb have a total of 7 points at the half and score is tied. We got them right where we want them.
Re: Kentucky 84 Ohio State 60
41.8 left and UK by 1. If I am found dead of a coronary then weigh me down and sink me at Dale Hollow and you fellas use me as structure.

THE BIG TEN IS DEAD
THE BIG TEN IS DEAD
OH MY GOD
THE BIG TEN IS DEAD
I must admit fellas I have been wrong. No, I am first to admit when I made a mistake and I have made several. First I thought it was the Big 3 plus 7, then I thought it was the Big 2 plus 8 when the ENTIRE TIME is was the Big 0 plus 10. I appologize to all the Hoosier fans here for saying that your team was DEAD WEIGHT, when actually, Indiana for as bad a season that they had brought the conference up a notch or two. Not exactly to the level of the SEC, with 2 teams in the Elite 8 but still The Big Ten had a very respectable season placing a couple of teams into the NCAA Tourney (that could have went to SEC teams) but that is another story.
UK over the Big East - West Virginia CHECK
UK over the Big 10 - Ohio State CHECK
UK over the ACC - North Carolina ???????????
GO BIG BLUE
GO BIG BLUE
GO BIG BLUE

UK can't match up with Harrison Barnes, UNC by 12. But let's all agree to support our local state schools and watch Bellarmine in the DII finals tomorrow.
Re: Kentucky 84 Ohio State 60
I will root for UK against North Carolina..........EVERYONE hates the heels.
BUT if UK gets matched up to Butler, which I doubt, I will have to root for Butler.

Re: Kentucky 84 Ohio State 60
Thad Matta was a bit testy during the post game press conference. A reporter asked his kids about how hard it was to play against a young Kentucky team that was not supposed to be here. The kids answered the question then Thad interrupted and asked the reporter what kind of question was that. Who said they were not supposed to be here, they just won the SEC conference. He went on to say Harrelson was the most underrated player in the nation.
Re: Kentucky 84 Ohio State 60
there might be some controversy over who the "best" big man in the country is......but there sure aint no trouble figuring out who "the most valuable" big man is.....josh is a BEAST!
Re: Kentucky 84 Ohio State 60

I think Sullinger is the best big man in the country - hands down but you are right Harrelson has flat out been a BEAST, especially in the SEC tourney and NCAA. Liggins, Harrelson and Miller all 3 have had their stints at carrying the team to where they are today. Lord know Jones pulls his David Copperfield dissappearing act way too many games and as good a shooter as Lamb is, just seems to not be able to get his shot. Knight has ice water in his veins but the 3 OLD MEN of the group have carried the 3 Freshmen of the group. This was the best game Calipari has coached in his entire tenure at UK. All the foul trouble, Jones gets 2 before he even steps off the bus, then to milk 6 players plus Hood and Vargas for about 13 seconds each to the end. For the first time in a long time, Calipari did not get outcoached in a close game
Liggins, Miller, Harrelson - 39 points and 20 rebounds and 7 assist
Lamb, Jones, Knight - 23 points and 11 rebounds and 4 assist

The General could not get 5 First Round NBA draft picks on the same team. I don't think there are 5 first rounders that could dodge chairs, accept being choked and lectured for not showing respect that would be on The General's team. The last 6 years at Indiana, his team was bounced out of the NCAA Tourney 4 times in the First round and 2 times in the second round. Bounced out 7 times in the First round the last 13 years he was the head coach of Indiana. His coaching career was way past its prime long before he left IU. Today's players are a different breed than those that came along 20 years ago. Today's kids are way more spoiled and had way too many things handed to them versus 20 years ago. Today's kids don't respond to the Iron Fist Coaching that Knight was famous for.
