Go with 1/8 or 1/4 oz. jigs. Match up different colors with chunks until you find what works. The NetBait Paca Craws are hard to beat.
Try this soft plastic combo for great action... Buy some Reaction Innovation 4.20 or Smallie Beavers. Match them up with an 1/8 oz Chomper stand up jighead. This is a killer combo in the creek. I prefer the California 4.20, Sprayed Grass or Balck w/ red flake.. Fish 2.5" or 4" tubejigs as well. They are hard to beat.
Good luck!
Strike kings bitsy jigs work great also. Greenpumpkin or black and blue. with net bait trailers in matching colors. especially for smallies.
Forgot about the Bitsy Jig. Good call! That's a good jig and won't break you to buy a good supply.

1. What are your top 2 colors?
2. What oz size should I get?
3. Trailers? Just something in crawdad?

1. black/blue or any variation of green pumpkin
2. depends on depth or time of year - 1/4 up to 3/4 oz.
3. Rage Tail in matching colors (see 1.)
