Bandit crank baits no matter what the season.
JIG! Hands Down.
# 5 and 7 original floating raps in black/silver, # 5 & 7 shad raps and zoom lizard or trick worm.:)
favorit bait of all time, Mann's 4 inch dragon finesse worm in tennessee shad. I will pay good money if anyone has these laying around.
favorite live bait, shad. No lure will ever perfectly immitate a live shad.
For the ledge bite here, I love Charmer's plastics on a C-rig.
I also love finesse jigs, and t-rigged lizzards.
Lately it's been some combination of these three for me:
* 1/4 ounce chartreuse Booyah spinnerbait
* Wacky-jigged 4" Yum Dinger in watermelon candy (thrown on a crankbait rod!)
* Assorted Paca Craw sizes and colors, depending on where I'm fishing. Lately I've been using the Baby Paca Craw in Okeechobee Craw, either Texas rigged or on a Legal Limit Lures jig or shakey head
But when the weather and water are right, my absolute favorite is a chartreuse buzz bait. Love to see 'em try to kill it!
I don't have a favorite and I think that is a big reason why I do well in tournaments. But I would say I am definately more of a power fisherman. I like a shakey head but I power fishing is my favorite technique.
Have to agree with the night crawler. Seems like when all else fails....pull out the worms!!! Especially if I'm out fishing with the kids!!!
Lucky Craft Sammy or Zara Spook!!!!!! But after two years straight of poppin good smallies I love a jerkbait!!!!
Definitely Berkley powerbait worm in spring. buzzbait in summer or fall.
