Re: Proud as can be.....
lol Woody...I'll have you know I fished the tourney 3 times in a roll and never placed outta the money.....Got a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd place finish when I entered the Open Tournaments......
Only reason he's not a Hoosier fan is because of his momma....At the tme when he first started learning about bball....His momma was a U of L fan...She wanted to make it more interesting in the family. So she got him to root for UK out of spite for me and my love for my Hoosier's. Oldest is a momma boy big time and youngest is a daddy's boy....
Now she's not a U of L fan anymore, she's a " And I Quotew " Oh those are pretty color's for that team" I'm a fan of said team now....
But for one thing for certain...She never persuaded my youngest son to go against the grain....He's all Indiana...his entire room is decked out in the Hoosier Stuff 100%.....
Cracks me up...When were in public and he see's a person wearing a Plain hat with a Big " K " on it...He'll stop the person and say...Man I didn't know people rooted for Kansas this far east...... You should see some of the faces on some of those cat fans....lol :D

Re: Proud as can be.....
Well, my oldest son took the ACT for the first time a few weeks ago. Got the results in the mail today, and what do you know. He scored a 28 on the test.
Uk has already told him that if he scored a 27 or higher he'd get a full free ride for college on the Big Blue Campus. Plus earn a stipend each month on top of the free ride.........
So proud of all his hard work and studying and he well deserves the free College education.
Plus i believe he can take the test again if he wish's and might be able to score even higher if he can.
Nice! Congrats man!

This post proves EVERYTHING. First, you wife was absolutely INSANE at one point in time because she was a U of L fan and she married you. So that explains how such an ANGEL as is your wife ended up with you. Second, it proves that your WIFE did give 110% of the brains to your son because SHE got smart and was converted from the dark and dreary side to the BIG BLUE side of life. Also it proves how brains can skip from one child to the next. I got the brains from WHOMEVER MY PARENTS ARE because there is no way in hell the 2 that I have called Mom and Dad for 43 years are related to me, but just to prove a point my younger brother got NOTHING. You oldest son was given the gift of BRAINS and he is considering attending UK, while your younger son was given the gift of ............................... still thinking ............................... turning 18 soon and getting out of the brain washing asylum (100% IU stuff, YUK!!!!)
