Re: Top 10 tourney fisherman in Ky
two not mentioned, but if you fish rough or nolin, they will flat out whoop up on you and take your money....Beauchamp and Long!
Yeah like I was saying there are good fisherman at every lake with tournaments. I can think of one or two on all the home lakes I fish who are hard to beat on that lake. If you want to really be successful at the local tournament level its best to fish one body of water all the time and really get to know it.
Still you cant dominate at a lake just by fishing it a ton you need some skill.

Good list but there are a couple not on there. I'd put Greg Hoskinson from Louisville up against any in Kentucky, especially lately. He is by far a better stick than at least 4 on this list, no offense to this list or any tourny angler. Hosko can just flat catch 'em anywhere.
Re: Top 10 tourney fisherman in Ky
A little info for Silverado. B&L have gone to Ky Lake and won against some of the best fishermen in Ky. They went to T-ville and were the only team with 3 fish. They went to Cumberland and beat the locals two weekends in a row. And let me tell you there are some fishermen in that part of Ky with the bark still on, they are very good. They have gone to Barren and won and the Ohio River and won. They have even beat some on the "PRO" list. Do you really believe David Long drives from Bowling Green 3-4 days a week to fish Rough and Nolin? These guys were good when they both had a job and couldn't afford that kind of time. It's not about the lakes, it's about the talent and dedication. It's about that burning desire to learn, to improve, to be on the lake when others have gone home because of the cold or rain or wind. Yes they spend a lot of time on the water but that's not what allows them to take your money. I look for Bradley Roy to be #1 or #2 in a couple of years.

They are very impressive, and with the talent they have, I am sure they would of done well at whatever level they fished. They have taken my money a few times. Besides being great sticks, they are also really nice men.
