Re: big worms?
Last year a buddy caught a 5.25 and it spit out a 33" snake so he said he needs to find someone who makes a 30" worm.........LOL!!!! Excite make a pretty good straight tailed worm 10"
thanks offdtop, for the tip on the Excite worms, now about that 33" snake, that fish spitting up that snake would FREAK ME OUT, was fishing a bluff on Watts Bar in the spring, snakes were all over that bluff wall, and we were looking at them when I turned to look at the trolling motor, stepped on the button a snake came out from under the boat! I still get chills just thinking about that

Re: big worms?
Sneed brothers make some big worms also, up to 15in, big flat paddle tails. Give them a try.

Re: big worms?
I used to find Bassassin 10 or 12 inch worms and had really good luck with them when I lived in Oklahoma. I have only seen them at sportmans warehouse in Lexington. Expensive and only 5 or 6 in a pack.

Will verify this post, those guys also produce a great shakey-head
of their own design with custom worms designed for the head.
Just goggle-sneed baits for their complete line........
