I knew the answer before you posted it. There are snakes there but I have never seen as many as some folks have reported. But then again there are lots of places in the park that I have not been. It would be smart to stick to the trails while hiking.

Yeah your suppose to be walking the trails. It amazes me the number of people that visit that park. Yet it is one of the wonders of the world. If everyone went off trail the eco-system down there would take quite a beating. Always stick to the trails when in National Forests.
