Re: An excellent lesson in wealth distribution
Geo you are way outa line here this time. She has every right to be on this board, the last time I checked we still had FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND FREE SPEECH, but sometimes others want to take that away when they DO NOT AGREE with what you say. The remarks you made were very hateful and SEXIST. Not the MORAL thing to do, just saw u post about morals, kinda hypocrytical isnt it? The main thing that is wrong in this country is POLITICS. period. We should as a country work together to get these problems solved, but when some are so set in their ways and ideas and thinks that they are the only ones right, both sides mind you, then nothing will get done, so lets just go ahead and bash others and put down others and contionue to work AGAINST each other so nothing gets done.
If you're here because you BELONG here.......fine, but if you're posting here just to be posting here......then there are plenty of other bs political boards for you to spew your garbage.
Most folks here are fisherman, hunters, sportsman FIRST..and just so happen to post on the OT board about politics, obama, sports, UL, UL, Indiana or whatever........but if you're here JUST to bash PUBS, then LEAVE.
NO NEED for you here.

Mr Fisher...There are several third world world countries on the planet that share your views and opinions but so far you and your ilk haven't managed to turn this country into one of those,if you believe in the American way of life you should at least show some civility toward its citizens.
Re: An excellent lesson in wealth distribution
Thank you for providing the link. Basically, the national debt isn’t just the government’s concern. When the government goes into the red, they use your money, taxpayers’ money, to handle the mounting costs, which are already prohibitive. Indeed, one of the most talked about debatable issue has been the mounting of national debt, and a popular sentiment on how to fix it is to begin taxing the rich at a higher rate. A majority of Americans support that idea including the students, according to various polls. Politico.com says most polls reveal that 50 to 70 percent of respondents usually are in favor of raising taxes on the wealthy. However, the wealthy make up a tiny part of the American populace. To add, America's Aug. 2 debt ceiling deal released $2.4 trillion in spending cuts but tax hikes apparently were not kosher, despite what some claim is a desperate need. According to The Economist magazine, this is as the common American citizen - a large voting constituency - fears the poor being brought near their own economic level, a “last-place aversion”. Check this out: Why average Americans fear redistribution of wealth. Just click the link for the details.
This is a fairytale. If raising the taxes on the rich solved the problem then everyone would quit working and just rely on the government. Then after everyone quit working and relied on the taxes of the rich, the rich wouldn't stay rich for very long or would move out of the country and take their money with them. Then everyone would be poor The cuts that old Harry offered weren't really cuts in spending plus they could be nullified by congress further down the road. This country needs to start cutting the free give aways and reform our social programs which is the growing part of our budget. Stop over regulating our businesses, develop our own natural resources, to cut costs of businesses in the U.S. Let the rich have their money and create a business friendly environment where they are willing to invest. That will create jobs. There's enough Namby pamby bull#### about how the middle class are holding down the poor. The middle class was once poor too and they worked for everything they got. I'm tired of driving to work in the morning and seeing Joe trailer park smoking a joint in his slippers at the school bus stop with his 5 kids (welfare benefits multipliers). He has no disability that would keep him from working, why don't he do it? Because it's easier to sit back at the trailer , watch Jerry Springer and bang his girlfriend all day to try to increase his benefits. Take the benefits away and he'll work at the car wash if he wants to eat.

Re: An excellent lesson in wealth distribution
Look.....I call it like it is........TROLL........first and probably only post..and it is on the off topic board.
So yea, TROLL.
Sorry, but I feel this is purely someone telling someone else to stir up crap here, if it is not already stirred up enough.
Yea, it was out of line.......and for that I'm sorry.
BUT I stand by my comments about coming on here just to stir the pot.

It was meant to be extreme....this person posted to specifically bait folks. Personally, I'm not too down with that.
This is the primary place I visit and post........I have some other boards, but this the only one I use for OT stuff......ONLY ONE.....
I have no enemies hear, at least I think I don't but it really HONKS me off when someone posts a SINGLE POST and is directly meant to bait folks. Yea, it was way over the line.
Like I said.......it was meant to be.
Sorry,
Geo

Must have not been to out of the line, at least not in the opinion of the moderators of this board anyway. I know from past experience the mods on this site do a pretty good job of keeping the conctent G-Rated and filter out the B.S. pretty quick.
As for the troll comment....Bingo!! One post on a fishin' website and it has nothing to do with fishing? B.S.!!
Great posts Geo!
Re: An excellent lesson in wealth distribution
Geo, the ironic thing is, I'm 99% sure your sexist post was directed toward a spambot.
Re: An excellent lesson in wealth distribution
Make that 100% sure...
