Re: RichieD "Buzz Bait" is on"
I was there the same day. Boy we got wet. Soon as we got to the lake it started raining. Soon as we got away from Wax it clear right up. Never rained here in Louisville. We didn't catch em like coombro, but we did catch em. Would like to know where coombro was targeting. The bigger fish were really on the buzzbait. Our biggest was four pounds. We caught a lot of dinks on the crankbait. RichieD I always enjoy your posts. I hate it that your leaving town. The buzzbait was about four feet from the bank.
Thx man...I hate to leave as well. I will miss KY fishing and the good guys here on the forum. Thx for the report as well...I am planning on hitting it one evening with the f-in-law this week...I'll report back if we go on how we do.
Not really to tight seemed to hit half way between boat and bank. Hit it with authority. I'd say I was in 8-12' of water under the boat and maybe 50' or so off bank. hard for me to judge. Weather was threatening as rain was mild and wind blowing. I was thinking "why am I throwing buzz bait in the rain", but they kept slamming it. Nice 2hr trip.
Haha...nice 2hr trip! It is a blast when they are keying in on the ol' buzzbait! I'm hoping to get up there Wed or Thurs with the f-in-law....I'll let everyone know how we do...and thx for the infro coombro!
Rich.....I'm headed for Weds, Thurs, and Fri. Feel like meeting up Friday morning before day break and giving em hell? I've gotta 20ft Nitro. You just know the lake and I wanna rub some of that knowledge off of ya.
I would LOVE to brother....but I'm no good in the am. Wife works early, and I have to get my daughter to school during the week...that is why I generally fish the evening bite. Anyways, you don't want to rub anything off of me....it may be contagious and incurable! :D Thx for the invite though...your boat sounds MUCH nicer than mine...haha.
Sounds like the buzzbait bite is on....give 'em he**!

No problem Rich I guess I even changed my tune as I told my bait and the exact location as to where i found them. Guess your post's have rubbed off on me. You think the whole world will be fishing Conoloway now? Their donation box ought to be over flowing!
Re: RichieD "Buzz Bait" is on"
45 fish later. Man the wind was hard to handle the boat. Most on a Buzz. None at your spot Coombro. Don't like bogarting someone else's honey hole.

Re: RichieD "Buzz Bait" is on"
That's why I didn't hit that point. Never fails. I'm casting away and up pulls Mr. Coombro. Then you stop giving away tips and areas. I just want to know technique and spots to apply it to other like spots.
