I'm just not convinced it worked and a lot of folks agree since his reelection chances are dwindling. The dem party is scared.
I don't have the numbers but if everything worked why is he asking for more? I remember reading and hearing how the numbers of his job creation plans are skewed in his favor so I just figure why not see how the country is now. I see unemployment higher than he said it ever would be and it has hovered around that figure even though he said it wouldn't. I see his solyndra debacle, our. our rating reduced, trillions more debt and bigger gubment. I don't see how what he has done could be labeled as it worked.
I'm not sold on his lack of re-election capabilities. I never thought this country would have elected him in the first place, it took me totally by surprise when he won the election. In my opinion the numbers of Mexicans, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesians, Muslims, Blacks, Gays, Hardcore Democrats, Union Workers and Government workers make up a very large portion of the total count of United States citizens. Add to this the number of people who figured out how to "work the system" so they don't have to work and...well..to me it seems all of these I just mentioned are the people in favor of Nobama....Not ALL, but most....not all Union workers, not all government workers, not all Blacks, but most I would say....or at least the one's who are uninformed of the real world are more than likely to re-elect Nobama. I sort of feel like the common man and his household of four got caught with his pants down during the last election so to speak. Hopefully....HOPEFULLY, all of our Amercian brothers have spread the word enough that Nobama will lose the next race by an unheard of percentage....say like 95% against Nobama, 3% for Nobama, 2% undecided.
If you voted for Nobama of if you have a bumper sticker in favor of Nobama you may as well get the word "stupid" tattoo'd on your forehead, one and the same.

Kentucky don't need no stinkin' bridge to Indiana...one "Bridge to Nowhere" project per century in the political landscape is enough, and we already went through that with Sarah Palin.
:D
I was actually going to save that joke against my Indiana bretheren for basketball season, but my trigger finger got itchy. Sorry.

That's just dirty politics.......heck I'd love to put a brand new boat on my credit card, but you don't see me making demands to my wife to allow me to do it.....that's just stupid, spending money you don't have....
Let's sell some oil and build some bridges with that money!

Heck you should have been around when Bush was potus. This place rocked with blame and hate. So much so that a few of the liberal folks got banned! I have my opinions just like you have yours and if we don't agree.....who cares?? We can't change anything to our liking. All we can do is vote and those crooks will do what they want.
BTW..... in case you didn't know.... everything is GW's fault!!! I learned that from some of the left leaning folks on here:p

the stim jobs numbers came from the CBO--funny how these numbers are right on when they favor repubs and there skewed when they favor dems
yes your right in that estimates for unemployment were too high however the current unemployment would be much worse without the stimulus
solyndra was 1 company that had a good idea that didnt pan out--however the huge majority of others loans givin to green companys through this program were a success that created alot jobs--not every good business idea works out--yes obama likely sped up the approval of the loan as a favor to a donor--if you think obama is the only one who does this type of thing than ive got some magic beans id like to sell you--paul ryan has been a huge supporter of making sure big oil keeps their ridiculous tax breaks while at the same time he leased some of his land to several big oil companies and made a hefty profit--both ryan and obama are at fault for this type of activity but lets be fair about this it happens on both sides--lets not forget bush started the loan program and approved the solyndra company for loan consideration--so if you want to say it was an irresponsible loan than bush must take some of the blame as well--I actually give credit to bush for this idea of loans to startup green business overall its been a winner
the dems are not scared! dems are praying that perry gets nominated--his extreme right wing tea party views have no chance in national election--too bad the tea partiers control the repubs and will likely elect perry--we dems fear romney who is more moderate and does have a chance of betting obama--more than likely the tea partiers will make the wrong choice for repubs and the right choice for dems and elect perry
Re: Ohio River Bridge...Loving It!
Vetbass they should be scared! They lost big time in the last election and lost the House. The crack they were smoking didn't sit well with the Americans so they voted them out. Obamys approval ratings stink right now and they are gonna get worse.
Wiener was replaced by a Republican from a district that has never sent a Republican to the House. The Dems used all their power to keep that seat with Clinton and Cuomo working the people but they still lost.
It's time to be scared! The mud slinging has only begun in the race for the whitehouse. I'm waiting to see who obamy chooses as his running mate cause it ain't gonna be Joe B. Prolly a Latino or black woman.
