This is a link to the 2012 NBA Mock Draft,I think you'll find 6 UK players listed in the Top 20 of the 1st round, the only UL player listed at all is the better than John Wall (note Sarcasm) Peyton Siva at #51,only took 4 years to get a 2nd round pick,;)
at Kentucky =#3 Anthony Davis,#7 Marquis Teague,#14 Doron Lamb,#15 Michael Gilchrist,#19 Terrence Jones >
at Louisville = #51 Peyton Siva

Re: Funny, Part 2
Thats a good start! Lamb and Jones I see as a huge benefit. Miller has one move that I think is money and that is when he drives on smaller guards and some small forwards and stops and pops his little one handed jumper. He seems so timid at times....maybe this is his year to get it into his head that he is the man.
It is a very good start. If the 3 of them average 3 more points each per game, that is 45 and if the Freshmen add another 40 total, you have 85 per game. With last years Freshmen averaging 44 and the year before 45, then 40 is realistic. Plus, I think Lamb will improve more than 3 points per game

Re: Funny, Part 2
At +600 and +750 I'd put down 100 on each and let it ride..........

Re: Funny, Part 2
Anthony Davis is picked to be the next #1 NBA Draft Pick,I'm sure he'll be a bust
I mean after all these "freshmen" have been playing pickup games against NBA Players and holding their own, even impressing.
On the other hand UL lost Preston Knowles and Terrence Jennings while adding 5 freshmen of which only 2 are highly ranked, but nearly as highly rated as UK's recruits.Uk is fresh off a Final Four,UL is fresh off a 1st round loss to an Ohio Valley Conference school,"Morehead State".
All of UK's Freshmen could have went straight to the NBA if they were allowed,I doubt if any of UL's could at this point.
The exact same could be said for Samardo Samuels.... How did that work out? My point is you never really know what you have until they suit up and play.

Re: Funny, Part 2
Let me get this straight, No BS on the site in regards to UK Basketball for over a week. No UK fan cracking on Louisville Basketball in any way for over a week. Louisville fan, UNANNOUNCED, post "Funny" video cracking on UK Basketball. UK fan points out the obvious that Louisville fans have said on this site for years. Then another Louisville fan, YOU, says "I really learned a lot from my vacation so he needs to vacate this site due to the BS". But you don't go to the original poster of "Funny" and chastise him for starting the BS. HMMMMMMMM, typical. Seems to me you are OK with any and all BS directed towards UK but take offense to any factual statements in response to initial BS. Once again, another Louisville fan putting a statement in his own words proving my point. Louisville fans are no better and no worse than UK fans. The only difference is which PROGRAM is better.
OK, as an impartial outsider (I don't give a rat's ass about basketball), let me say that I'm not offended at all by someone posting a video cracking on another basketball team, no matter what team, but I AM mildly offended to open a thread entitled "Funny, Part 2" and the first sentence starts out with talk about someone's **** not stinking. I have to agree with MHall, you obviously didn't learn much from your "vacation."
If other people are posting garbage, that only says something about them. How you respond to it says something about YOU, and what your posts say about you has changed lately, in a very basic way. Used to be you were one of the most interesting posters on this board. You were always very generous with sharing fishing tips and information, and great stories about your loving family. Nowadays, not so much, and it's a **** shame.

Re: Funny, Part 2
Personally I think Teague is overhyped coming out of high school...He's quick as lightening but I think he'll have to develop into a TRUE point guard....Haven't been overly impressed with Davis either...He's got the length and ability but he's too slim to bang in the SEC...Although he will go pro after 1 year, it's a shame because he could be a beast after a year of hitting the weights and the calories...Gilchrist is the REAL DEAL...He reminds me a lot of what all of us UK fans think Miller should be...He does everything well...He does one thing that UK is going to struggle with this year and that's rebounding...T Jones will have to man up and carry the bulk of the rebounds for them to have any kind of shot....Wiltjer will be another bust for the big blue
Elnut, who is the Beckham you're talking about...I havent heard anything on him

Re: Funny, Part 2
Well RoadToad, for several years certain UL Posters have took every cheap shot at UK they could, digging up every piece of mostly made up information and using it in a hatefest that was more than over the top.
It's funny how some can dish it out,but can't take it,especially when these same UL posters insult and degrade the people and state of Kentucky beyond the Louisville metro area.
I'm a UK supporter, but I love the natural beauty of this state and the hospitality of the rural residents and stand offended by people that reside in the same Commonwealth claiming to be outdoorsmen, yet trashing what they have little of.

Twany Beckham transferred from Mississippi State. 6-5 point guard out of Louisville Ballard will be a Junior but can't play until after the fall semester because he transferred half way thru the year and must sit a full year. Injury plagued career at MSU. Should give Teague a couple of minutes relief at the point when he is eligible. Good friends with Rajon Rondo, by the way, if he only could bring some of Rondo's skills with him

Re: Funny, Part 2
srry but no one asked you to read the threads or even respond to them if you don't like the truth being told about Uk Basketball...
Like I said...U of L just hates the fact that over the lifetime of our programs ( Indiana and Kentucky ) were better than they are and it's killin them....
P.S. Also for the record Duke with coach K. is even better than U of L now.......lol

SORRY, I do read them ( or at least start to read when they show up on "new post"), then hit the "page down key". Maybe Peter could set up a NEW SPORTS BOARD, for rants about UK or UL or whatever? If I , were a sports fan, which I'm not, I find little interest in the back and forth UK,....UL.....Ect.,.....banter. :p:eek::eek:
Mills, you are right, NO ONE ASK ME......but, anyways you got my thinking on the subject.
Just thinking, is it possible your and your like minded posters could limit you comments to {PM} messages back and forth. Would be much appreciated.....!

Re: Funny, Part 2
Maybe that is a good idea. Set up a separate sports board. When want to talk and read sports just go there.
