Re: iPhone fishing log apps
I think the best way to use it is to try and fill it out at the end of each day. I can usually remember what I catch, where I catch it, and what on. etc etc. and at the end of the day fill out the paper version and then log it on online later. Because it is hard once you've caught a fish to put down your rod and say welp gotta log this one in, that would really be pretty silly to do that. I think surely we can all remember what we do on the water at least at the end of just one day.
Never even crossed my mine too do it after fishing.I better get busy because i remember every spot i ever caught a fish.My few years in Ky its easy still. My problem is i'm looking for more hunny holes & nobody too leave the info for after i'm gone so i share it wwith everyone as it happens..........:cool::cool:
Re: iPhone fishing log apps
I use the IPhone apps while I fish. The Apps for Navionics is cool but I use the Fishing Calendar App the most. It shows the lunar phases, peak times, will track your photos, and mark way points on the lake for your catch. The last one is good just in case you forget to mark your depth finder. Navionics is cool when I fish the Ohio River. I have it synced with google earth and if you get ahead of the app Google earth can show other structure you may not have seen on the screen. Good luck and hope either of them help.
