Re: I like Romney, but this makes him look like a DOUCHE
[QUOTE=GeoFisher;477651]I understand what you are saying, but the Marion stuff brings back a whole lot of memories of my childhood.
Reminds me a whole hell a lot of what happened to my town of Muncie. While there is plenty of blame to go around and UNIONS and labor have a lot to do with that........there were quite a few companies that changed hands a few times. If the kind of money changed hands like what is described in this video......WELL, that is wrong.
Nothing wrong with making a buck. We ALL want to....but raiding and DESTROYING a company for a buck is WRONG, and is what is wrong with this country.
It cannot ALWAYS be about a buck.
I will NOT vote for Romney in the primaries........I will vote for him for President if it comes to that. Obamunism has been tried for 4 years.......it doesn't work either......

Yep
Re: I like Romney, but this makes him look like a DOUCHE
I had two relatives who worked for many many years at two different steel mills. They were bough and split, assets sold, pensions voided. If IRSA wasn't around there guys would have been penniless. All the retirement benefits were dropped. One of the new tube mills was dismantled and moved to another state. Some people made a ton of money, most wound up with zilch. We need outfits like this.Part of these buy outs were financed by junk bonds.Just another example of no moral direction, no integrety. Pure and simple greed!
