Your right, stats don't tell the whole story, does MVP's and Super Bowl rings count? The only thing Tebow has in common with Rodgers and Brees is that he also is in the NFL.
Yeah I guess so at least they can look at them will they sit at home. Guess Tebow has to look at his Heisman and NCAA championships. Time will tell.

The Good Lord only answers prayers on the offensive side of the ball. On defense, you're on your own pal. He aint tagging in at Outside Linebacker.
:D

Are you really trying to compare Tebow to Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers? Seriously? No comparison, plain and simple, Rodgers and Brees are NFL quarterbacks and Tebow is NOT!
The Broncos were winning, despite he was their quarterback, not because of it.
Btw Tebow doesn't have any NCAA championship because they don't exist. What he and others have are mythical national championships that are decided on by votes and not playing it on the field. This is just one reason the NFL is far greater than college football.

Wait a minute Tim. Tebow plays for the Denver Broncos in the NFL at quarterback. To me that makes him an NFL quarter back right? Florida won two Championships in football when Tebow was there. Won the Big game and crowned National Champions be it BCS or what ever it's called making them the national champions for those years. Everyone is entitled to their opinions yet Tebow is an NFL quarterback and Florida has won the national championship in football. Votes didn't get them their victories as they kicked butt on the field.

Okay, let me rephrase that: "Tebow is not a GOOD NFL quarterback!"
I don't put a ton of stock into the national championship in d-1 college football. It is the only sport that is a popularity contest and is not decided on the field. There is no such thing as division 1 NCAA national championship in football because the bowls and the Bull Crap System are not run or sanctioned by the NCAA.

Now Tim.... I don't question your sports opinions to often because you are very informed but what do you mean by this? Not playing it on the field? I'm guessing your saying unless there is a playoff system in place there really isn't a true champion in the end? Just wondering.....

Exactly. It pisses me off to know end that this system exist for the sake of a select few to get rich off the sweat equity of some 18-22 year olds and they cannot even decide it on the field of play.
The NCAA runs a playoff system for every other level of football and it works fine, but this stupid bowl season and college presidents lining their pockets is corrupt and I hate it!

LOL Don, I bolded it so it would be clear what I was addressing. Sorry for the confusion.

Well I agree with you on the flawed BCS bowl system crap to much money to many bowls. Win 6 games go to a bowl. Let it be determined on the field. Yet in this day and time it is what it is and Alabama is the National Champion. They won it with the system that's in place. It's gonna catch up to them (the BCS) as the SEC has won the past 5 years. And the way it looks probably be that way again next year with the current system in place. A play off system is needed most defiantly.
My initial post was about all the scrutinizing that Tebow takes. Probably because he wears his beliefs on his sleeve, always has and my bet is always will. He is a NFL quarterback that took a struggling team to the playoffs and then led the Broncos over the Steelers in the playoffs. He led the Broncos to a sweep of the AFC West on the road plus numerous 4th quarter on OT comeback wins. Whether he led the team or the played harder because of his influence more than his left arm, either way No Tebow at QB, No playoffs, No victory over Steelers. As good as Brady played, there was no other team in the NFL beating the Patriots on that night, much less the Broncos. Oakland, Kansas City and San Diego all had their shots to beat the Broncos and could not do it when the chips were down. How many other first year starters, started the last 11 games of the regular season inheriting a 1-4 team to the success of the Broncos? NOBODY. How many QB's in recent memory did what Tebow did in taking a team that had not sniffed the playoffs in years to the success of the Broncos this year? If the Broncos leadership put the time and effort in Tebow this off season in reading coverages and then draft him a couple of game changing wide receivers, who knows how good they could be. The rest of the AFC West and their veteran QB's did not get the job done and Tebow most certainly will put in the time to learn and get better.
