Jeez. I'll have to check that out. I use a total of three boxes between the boat and rod storage and other storage. Boat is in a six bay pole barn. wouldn't think that would be a problem.
Rat poison works too if there are no pets that could get to it.
I was out I'm the middle of the lake one day and there was a mouse right on top or the trolling motor.
Same thing happened to Austin & I last year. We were at Rocky Point on the river fishing a tournament when all of the sudden I hear "Dad, look on the back of my seat" (the passenger seat), & sure enough Mr. Jingles was there along for the ride. I caught him & sent him swimming & then another & another. We ended up throwing 5 or so into the river that morning. It was raining pretty good & I reckon thats what drove them out of hiding.
I checked the Nitro out yesterday & didn't see any signs yet this year. I have the moth ball thing going on, but was just curious if there was any other ideas that people had to share about this.
Thanks everyone for shareing their info.

Jason, you just threw some good bait over board!!
cleaned mine out today, had 2 nest with 2 dead mice, i slid some decon under my cover a coupl weeks ago, and got in it today and found they had been in all my storage compartments. but got everything cleaned. decon did the trick.
Don't leave any food in your boat and remove all plastic lures, the scent attracts them too.
Add mothballs.

Use a picture of onemorecast56 and Tyme2fish from Dale Hollow last April. If that doesn't scare the mice, give the rodents the boat and buy a new one! :)
If you don't want your boat to smell like grandmas Sunday outfit, try mint leaves
I have had great success for many years with moth balls . . they indeed work for me and all my friends I have told. Good luck! I know they work!
Easiest and cheapest. Put up a sign that says "MICE KEEP OUT"
Moth balls work real well and you can put them around your house as well It will keep cats mice and snakes away..
Awesome responses. Thanks everyone.
