Re: Praising God banned....Allah......that's OK
It's a shame so many Christians know so little about other faiths, or even their own. News flash: You Christians worship the same deity the Muslims do. "Allah" is nothing but the Arabic name for God. So why would any Christian object to singing "There is no truth except God?"
Whats a shame is people like you dont know who the muslims worship. They worship mohamad and you will find his bones in medina. If you ever need another lesson just let me know.:) I will agree with your statement that ( There is no truth except Gods ).

Ummm, Mohamad was a prophet, just like Jesus. Muslims, Christians, Jews all worship the same god, but just have different names for god. All three religions were started in the middle east and all derived from Judism.

UMMM, I will beg to differ. I dont worship the same God that the muslims do. Jesus died and was resurected and is alive and well today. Can you say that for mohammad? As I stated, his bones are in medina waiting on the resurection.:)

Andrew, having a common origin is not being the same. This is one of those things that people have said so often that it rings true, but it's not.
The god of Islam, and the god of Judaism, are incompatible with the God of Christianity. We should all find common ground, and try to get along, but it doesn't do any good to pretend we worship the same god.
