That is a great fish anywhere but a creek fish it is really great.
Mama mia! That's a some-a-spicy meat-a-ball-a !!!!!
I'm jealous too. Been stream fishing for YEARS hopin to hook into one like that. I've come close a couple of times, but that ole brown fish is special. Best fish for smaller waters I've seen posted on here in some time.
Congrats!
Levisa Fork?
Yep, I got a chance to go again today and only had 2 bites. One was close to 3 pounds and the other I thought that I set the hook into a pile of rocks until it started swimming out towards the middle of the stream. I got it within about 10 ft. from me and up to the surface and it just pulled off, it looked to be about the same size as the fish I caught on Sunday:(
Nice fish, congrats

Nice fish!
Just my opinion but I wouldn't tell folks where I caught something like that....I might PM someone I know but loose lips sink ships. Seen it happen many times on here. Helpful info is cool but small body of water/streams locations, naw never good...just saying.:)
DJD...most cases that would be true. But where this place is located....fishing pressure is very low and very very few "out of towners" could even find it, I know the general area and it is super, super difficult terrain to negotiate. You have to really know what you are doing and where there is access to get to this body of water!
